Default Please LG Lucid Kernel Help

Hi, I looked around the forums and didn't see anything about this so hopefully I didn't miss anything. I have also spent hours trying to figure out if there is a kernel to use. Anyway, I have a LG Lucid fully rooted but I would like to overclock it (have setcpu). I was wondering if there was a kernel that I could use with the stock OS. I would prefer not to switch ROM's for fear of bricking my phone, but if there is a easy one to install I might. Please give detailed instructions because I am new to this. Thanks in advance.
