Since M-Pro is in the family of Y-Pro i decided to post the rooting method including this phone as well. But let me get something straight you might get a root or not or brick that is the risk. But if somebody is out there brave to try it, reply the results if is positive or negative. iFLUSH risked his phone to try my rooting method but finaly the results were impressive Root my Samsung Galaxy GT-B5510 - Android 2.3.6 thanks to him now that phone can root everybody...that's all for now good luck

This works for the Chinese market B5510. It was difficult getting it into recovery mode though.

Press Power Button and then release, quickly press Volume Up and Home Button at the same time.

I have a Chinese android phone 2.3.6. The model is G22, MTK6515 which can be seen here:

I have tried all the root methods possible including what is listed here and in recovery mode I continuously get the same error message when trying to install a zip:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

I always get this message no matter what type of zip i try to install. Should I be doing something else first?
