HTC Magic Rom Help, PLEASE (MYHERO)

Hi a while ago i installed the MyHero rom for the HTC Magic, it worked like a treat, however just recently my SD card reader started to play up and now doesnt read any sd cards, even those that are in other HTC Magics.
In order to try and get it fixed i need to put the original Magic Rom on so that i dont void warranty, however i cant do this without the SD card reader working. I thought if i perform a factory reset on the phone it might put it back to the HTC Magic rom, however now it seems there is no rom and it gets stuck in a boot cycle, coming up with the "HTC Magic" sign at the start then "HERO" sign at the start.

Does anyone know any way around this, im in desperate need for help.

IIRC you could use the Android SDK to push files to the device but I'm no expert on using the sdk.

If no-one can help you here I'd recommend posting on the xda-developers website, I've seen more indepth ROM hacking discussions over there.
