7/30 Hotfix added to fix MMS for Boost

What is this ROM?
-Stock Based ZVC
-CIQ Removed
-De-odexed
-Zip-aligned
-Rooted
-Beats Audio boot animation (blue)
-Themed Swype
-Beats Audio Drivers
-Equalizer
-Xperia Launcher
-File Manager (Free)
-YouTube 720p wifi+3G default
-Roboto Font default
-Debloated
-Build.prop tweaks
-Adds Roaming to the settings menu AND usb tether/wifi Hotspot built in for Boost
-My boot time was cut in HALF! as well as increased Benchmarks speeds

TO INSTALL:
-MAKE A BACKUP
-You MUST, do a Factory Reset prior to flashing.
-Download or copy the zip to the root of your sdcard
-Reboot into CWM Recovery
-"Install zip from Sd"
-Select zip and hit "yes"
-Reboot!
-Install any hotfixes for your version

Update: works great but cant swype it just beeps when i try to swype the keys. I love it, thsnk you so much. One more thing, before anyone says anything, adw ex is a paid app. I would replace it with the free one

HELP!! I am stuck in boot loop it just plays beats audio animation over and over please help. All I did was a cwm backup, cwm factory reset, rebooted, and cwm install .zip from root sd. please help I need my phone lol.

I needed to cwm factory reset again to fix the bootloop.

Do a battery pull and them hold the volume and power buttons and go Back into recovery do a factory reset again and then flash the zip again and tell me what happens. Allow around 5 minutes to boot

I just did factory reset and rebooted and am waiting to see if it bootloops this time if it does ill format and reinstall from .zip

no but you can use playfulgod's rom and then add the same things to your phone. i can help you if you want but get his rom installed first

Hey man is there any way to make a rooted version or could someone upload a CWM backup of this ROM that is rooted, my four year old just broke my laptop screen. I can restore stock rooted but I want this one lol

First off: Thanks alot to Monster!! You helped me out alot. Also thanks to TryingToRoot as well. I just wanted to share my thoughts. I have messed with this all day, and like it for the most part! I do like the Beats Boot Animation though seems like it takes a little longer to boot than it did before. I have only noticed a couple things that seem to have issues. 1) The Bluetooth will connect to my pc to play audio or music from my phone or as a speakerphone to my phone but, will not connect via FTP so i could transfer files via Bluetooth (Which Monster is working on currently). 2) I also noticed that superuser was having issues granting ES File Explorer and Root Explorer permissions. I did get Root Explorer to work after uninstall/reinstall of the app but, ES File Explorer wouldn't be recognized from SU. I do like how you added WiFi HotSpot!! It works on my laptop but, I will let you know if it works for my Internet TV since WiFi Teather App wouldn't show my SSID or be able to connect to my TV. 3) And lastly, I wish I could have my stock Swype Keyboard back but the Beta seems to be ok. Other than those couple of things I do like it! I thank you for all your time and hard work |Monster|!!

The custom wifi teather/hotspot is recognized with my WiFi TV..

OK, im really hoping someone can help me out. I have the boost marquee. I tried Playfuls rom not realizing it wouldnt work, and it was stuck in a bootloop. Then I was unable to restore my backup. Realizing Monsters rom was finished I flashed it and rebooted. The new beats boot logo appeared but the same boot sound as playfuls rom, and still bootlooping. I cannot restore backup, I cannot factory reset. after trying it just keeps bootlooping at Beats logo. Also after installing Monsters rom from zip, when I click ****Go Back**** , it says "E:Error in /cache/recovery/last_log (no space left on device). Under mounts and storage system and data are not mounted. when i try to format /cache it says error formatting /cache. I know this is a lot of randomness but trying to give as much info as possible. Can anyone help me?

the same boot sound is supposed to be there because the one i used didnt have any audio so i just used playful's

its the .6 instead of the .8. I had previously tried the cwm that emoboi had posted (that didnt work) then i did playfulgods. I think something didnt work correctly though because i was still having to wipe cache at the main screen to get it to reboot. but when i ran pg's .bat file it acted like it worked. unfortunately i ran it without the phone even plugged into the computer and it acted like it worked then as well. Is this phone totally bricked?

*is there anyway to get a zip of the cwm that works to flash?

i Just got to where i can use adb shell. does anyone know of anything i could possibly do to help fix this problem?

when your phone is plugged into the computer go to device manager and see if it shows the adb device at the top, if not its not working right.

I cant see it in the avd device manager but if i execute "adb shell" in the command line. "c:/program files (x86)/android/platform-tools/adb shell" i cant use the adb commands. I used bmgr and wiped all. that got rid of the beats loop, but wouldnt go past the LG screen. i reflashed the rom and it boot loops even faster
* and now i cant even do that. I believe i made a very bad mistake by doing that. lol

you wont be able to do any restores without using a kdz, tot, or bin most likely. Check this thread: Reflashed stock firmware on LG Marquee - xda-developers

Holy Shit! Monster you are the man! This worked and my phone is back working again. The only thing is that it now says sprint instead of boost. Im wondering if I should use your rom or playful gods rom now.

it has some build.prop speed tweaks but not supercharger scripts. just check the build.prop afterwards and make sure they are no duplicate entries

I had a problem, I flashed the ROM no problem but I can't get the hotfix to work. I'm using 1.1 and can't flash the hotfix for 1.1. I get an installation aborted error message.

it must have been a glitch with the dialer its working fine now and just like Capn069 said the hotfix is giving me the same error something about the signature verification or something. and the other thing i noticed is the phone takes a little bit longer to respond to things like opening apps and switching screens.

Hi Mr Monday,

In my experience, it is never (NEVER) wise to try and use a theme that is intended for another phone on another. Recipe for disaster, to put it simply.

Since this phone just got it's first roms completed, I would wait until this forum comes up with some themes for the Marquee. And, from what I have read so far, the difference between the sprint, boost, and other versions may be significant. (As far as a sprint rom working for boost, and vice versa, but I may be wrong). Make sure you carefully read through the threads, to avoid any issues.

This may be an opportunity to start themeing yourself, I know I would like to give it a try.

If you do try that theme you posted, I do wish you good luck, and let us know if it works for you.

Didn't help I still get random disconnects that I didn't get before flashing it worked perfectly with the stock music app. I just want to use my BT Headphones and I'm stumped.

bluetooth is having small issues right now, im working on that. This rom is still beta, which means not everything works/may not work/does work/. Until i can figure out what bluetooth is having a delay you may have to listen to music the old fashioned way, with a cord :P

Inn adw or go launcher, you install a theme you like. It will theme done of your apps. To theme the rest, simply long press the app and tap edit. Then tap on the icon. Then choose adw theme icon pack. Then select the theme you are using. And, then just select which icon fits the .apk best. Tip: you can can theme the open/close drawer button as well
