edit:"i'll look into it, one of the bluetooth apps probably broke when i optimized it.

edit:

heres something for you guys to try - BluetoothFix-test.zip

flash it in CWM and wipe dalvik

I tried the BT fix. I get to the point of entering the passcode (from another phone I am trying to pair with) during the pairing process. I never get the option to enter the passcode on the Marquee so the end result is incorrect passcode.

So, they try to pair but I haven't figured out how to get a passcode match.

Default CTMod3.6/hyper v0.2 lag issues

I am experiencing long lags using some applications. For instance, using the native phone browser sometimes results in a freeze-like condition for more than a minute.

Is there an issue with using applications other than those installed with CTM?

I really like the rom, just need to know the restrictions.

That should be fixed in the next update

I'm actually not experiencing too much lag with the stock browser but I haven't used it enough to test for sure.

But I have experienced extreme lag up to almost complete freeze with the two games I've tried - angry birds space and temple run. Although I believe them to be quite resource heavy in the first place...May be a kernal problem? I was able to run angry birds space no problem on the optimus except for the big stages

Sprint mms works but I know that was already stated by another and the problem is for boost.

Two problems I noticed when using the Play Store though:

1)downloading the app is fine but no matter the size of the app when it begins to install, the phone begins to lag like crazy and i cant do anything until it's done. two times it even wanted me to close the app store and browser but i told it to just wait.

2)not a problem just checking i didn't screw anything up- before the download actually starts, is the download bar suppose to spaz out in different colors?

Thanks again blood! can't wait for the update

The download bar flashing is supposed to be like that I think, I've been running CT for about a week now with no serious lag issues except for that Bluetooth bug but I also don't run games on my phone either...

The flashing bar is included in the ROM.
Have you loaded many apps besides the ones included in CTMod?

Ive only got about 16 apps that weren't included in the ROM with only 3 of them usually running in the background, HD widgets, equalizer, and juice defender. So far everything has still been running fine for me.

Looking forward to the update. Even now it is good enough to use. It has very useful features and great performance in most situations.

Do you think the text to speech may be fixed as well in the update?
This is what I get when trying to have my phone read me a text:

I've even switched default voice engines from PICO TTS to SVOX Classic TTS. And nothing..

A few questions:

What does it mean when the signal bar and/or the 3g is lit up and white versus black (both have bars it seems)?

Is there a way to turn the screen on using the other hard buttons besides turning off the lock screen? I like the lock screen as an addition measure against any screen pushing and for easy silencing...

I usually get decent signal but looking at by time without signal its going anywhere from 50%-80%... Any fix for this? I hope its not a main factor in making my battery drain.

Grey icons mean your not synced to Google's servers, white means you are. The stock roms do the same thing.

What are you asking about the lock screen? How to map lock/unlock to a different button?

Roms don't have anything to do with how strong your signal is. There are alot of things that can make it bad like the baseband, prl, weather, location, towers being worked on, etc. But if your signal is going in and out alot that will drain your battery pretty quick.

If it works there then it should be fine. Have you tried using anything else that uses tts?

Well switched it back to Pico TTS and tested it in GO SMS. And now it's working again not sure what had happened. I was getting that error forever in GO SMS. Must have been something when switching engines. Thanks for the help though.

you can try the sprint version, make a backup first tho.

did you have to edit your build.prop or anything else in your current rom to get it to work with your carrier?

Thanks for the reply.

Should've been more detailed.Well when the screen is off you obviously have to push the power button to turn the screen back on. In the back of my head I always feel uneasy about having to push the same button so much.

So my questions was is it possible to "turn on" any of the other buttons to activate the screen? whether it be fix/app/mapping...if mapping doesn't affect the regular function of the button when the screen is on?

Okay, I don't get it. Swype isn't installed on this ROM? I have tried everything else...
I've even tried different .Apk's. I'd even tried other "Swype like" keyboards. No Bueno. ='[

I'm going back to stock. I need this. I text a lot and it's impossible to do so without Swype.

Everything works for me on this ROM, Except that.

I'm going to go back to my earlier back up of this ROM. Then wipe cache before I run the installer.zip. Then we'll see.

if you have left over data on the phone from some other swype you tried, it will cause problems with the one that actually works.

the swype beta should work too but the same thing goes for old data screwing with it.

Kudos on making this available, Bloodawn!
Was about to try the ROM out, but would rather wait for an update if there is really one around the corner.

I keep checking this thread to see...

UGH idk what to do haha. and if i use this rom can i still use go sms and go launcher etc?

the sprint and boost versions are exactly the same except the carrier they work with, so you'll want the boost version.

yes you can use those apps.

It doesn't matter, that's just a sprint stock rom you have on it right now. You can flash a boost rom without any issues.

You may want to upgrade your baseband before you do anything tho. You can do that by flashing one of my stock zvc/zv4 roms.

That is the Baseband I have on my device.
-----------------------------------------------------
LG LG855 Marquee [Boost]
CTMod 3.6
3D Boost + OC 1.2GHz Kernel + Hyper Kernel (ramdisk)
Baseband: LS855ZVC-M6600A-SCAUTSZ-3.0.40T
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7 lge@android-build #2
SW Version: LG855ZVC
------------------------------------------------------
I do wonder though, since I am on boost if the part I put in bold should read: LG855ZVC or LG855ZV4? All I do know is the current setup works fine.

Mine reads zv4 and everything is good on my end as well. Guessing it doesn't matter.

Was wondering where the option is to use the power button during calls.. BeforeI could set it to hang up the call.. I don't see it in settings> call settings anymore.. Any ideas? Thanks.

It isn't under settings/accessibility? That's were it should be.
