  • I've had my non-rooted Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 since last August. I routinely clear my caches, update my apps, reboot periodically, update PRL and take all necessary cautions and routine maintenance required to keep things running smooth. Currently running 4.1.2 on consistent 4GLTE in Long Beach CA with no problems. Why am I writing this? Because, like any equipment or device, our phones will do what they are supposed to do with minimal problems if we simply just take care of them. I have also discovered that almost EVERY problem can be solved on this forum IF you take the time to research, learn and implement the solutions. I'm just sayin'...
Started in the Android world (and this forum) in 2009 with Verizon HTC Eris then to Motorola Droid then jumped to Sprint in 2011 for the Evo 4G. Love the Note II but hate the price so probably going with the Samsung S3 or HTC Evo 4GLTE...just not sure which. Main concern, since I'll be stuck on 3G until LTE comes to Southern California, is which device will give me the best data service on 3G? Thoughts?
After watching this forum go from simple discussions in the early Android days of the Droid, Eris, etc to a full-blown raging debate on a plethora of devices in just 3 short years, I find it great to be alive in this age of electronics! Getting ready to say a fond farewell to my Evo 4G with Sprint...I am going with either Samsung S3 or Note II...
