Is yours rooted? Did you have a lag fix on it? Did you apply the Scandinavian hack by changing your computers Samsung registry files?
If yes to any of these then additional steps are required to get Kies to update itself or the phone correctly.
I presume you are running Kies xxxxxxx.100 (latest version). Does it recognise that Froyo can be updated on you phone?
Not an expert by any stretch of the imagaination but can point in the right direction if you've encountered similar propblems to what I had but at this time, I do not know what your experiencing?
