    yeah ur right. they had the retail price of the phone a lot lower than it was supposed to be. I remember seeing it and because i read on forums people were calling to see if they can purchase the phone outright from them with no contract for the $250 price. My receipt only shows the $99 sale price not the retail. You're right, lol, we shouldn't be responsible for them price listing the item incorrectly!

    I'm actually in a dispute with them. I contacted the California Boared of Equalization, and I was only suppose to be taxed california los angeles sales tax of 9.75 percent. The date I ordered the phone, my FULL RETAIL PRICE WAS 249.99, with 150 off, coming out to 99 bucks. I am suppose to pay tax on full retail of 249.99. Only recently did they increase the retail price to over 400. It is on my account that full retail was 249.99. They are dodging the issue, giving me the run around. If they don't fix the problem soon, I am filing a BBB report and a Board Of Equalization business complaint. They owe me 31 dollars in taxes!

    I live in California. I had to call them as well, because they charged me $50 in taxes for the phone which I questioned. The reason they gave me, was due to being in California, taxes are 8-10%, in my county it's 8.975. They also state California has a law in which online companies have to calculate taxes based on the "retail price" of the phone as opposed to the "sale price" and the vibrant retail price is $499.99. I'm not entirely sure if this i accurate, i didn't press the issue because i paid less for the phone than I expected, but let me know what they told you ...

    Hello,

    I noticed in one of your posts you said you ordered your vibrant through costco. So did I, however I have a billing dispute with them, they over charged me on tax.

    I'm wondering, what state do you live in, and how much did you pay for the item, also how much was your tax specifically?
