I rooted my phone, HTC Hero 1.5 Stock ROM (UK Orange) using the following thread:

But there seems to be some problem with the Step 5 flashrec, I have recovery-RA-Herov1.6.2.img in the sd card but after installing flashrec, when I open it and enter the path /sdcard/recovery-RA-Herov1.6.2.img the button right beneath the address bar shows 'Invalid Recovery Image'...I am not sure if it is supposed to show that...if I don't enter anything in the address bar it says 'Flash Cyanogen Recovery 1.4'. I did Flash option and tried to turn the phone in the recovery mode but it never passed the Hero first screen unless I removed the battery :-( The phone turns on normally though. The purpose is to update radio and I need recovery mode to get nandroid backup. Please guide.

while when i am using OpenHome it detects albums and music ... but with touchflow cannt detect..
Bro need your help please... today i clean data from app manager in my htc hero.. thought can remove some space.. n it cleaned 15mb but later when i open album or music now it says :- 'No photos or videos found' while browsing albums ,same with music ... but i can open it though file manger and it works very well.. can you help me please..
