I set it up right and got the settings pointing to the SDK and such, and the emulator works. There are problems but Im satisfied this is the way. I formerly installed SDK and Eclispse and Appcelerator in several places, and in B4A sn old broken app I made for Appcelerator tries to show up. I ordered a refurbished laptop to devote entirely to B4A, and that should solve all problems. Thank you again for the help you already gave.
