Downloaded the Dolphin HD Browser and changed the user agent to desktop as suggested by Lolpoppa. This works and I can view BBC Weather video without the "Media Selection Request Failed" error message! Note that having changed the user agent to desktop initially, I don't have to do it each time. Thanks for the work around Lolpoppa! Does anyone know why the error still occurs with the Android Browser Version 2.3.4?
