Tried. Nothing on most of them except the coolpad quattro, it has a four inch display.

yea i went to samsung and checked if i can get some specs on the samsung galaxy light tray 4g atleast to find out if cpu is dual but nothing.

Support - More Cell Phone Providers SCH-R940 | Samsung Cell Phones oh well shall find out later or sooner

Just found this. 1.0 ghz micro processer?
I'm assuming this is one of the lower end 4g phone. Only thing it gas going for it is the screen size.

I think the Galaxy SIII will come with the Snapdragon S4 (dual-core) processor but will have corners cut somewhere else (shrinking the massive 4.8 inch screen to 4.3) because the LG Motion 4G will have a Snapdragon S4 processor. source:LG Motion 4G for MetroPCS pictured, said to have Snapdragon S4 inside

I don't think they will shrink the screen. Then it wouldn't be a galaxy s3

Here's a question for you all. Even if the specs are incredible on one of these new phones would you still buy it if it didn't have a dev community? (Root mainly).

Personally I would wait to see which phone gets Dev attention.

if the S3 came to metro in all its glory i'd get it if it had no dev community at all.

this coming from someone who hasnt utilized any of the stuff developed for the connect besides root access. most of the stuff made for it has been reviewed to be buggy and since the connect is the only smartphone i have i cant risk buggering it trying out new ROMs.

i like the points that are being brought up and yes i agree metro dont wanna be giving out free updates they need your hunger to buy new phones off them if they were to upgrade the esteem to ics alot of users might end up keeping their esteem and thats bad business for them since they wont be making any money.... so in conclusion they keep selling phones and never give updates that means we keep buying them.

Looking at what virgin did with the iphone in leaving it as is and selling it at a high price tag I'm hoping Metropcs follows suit.

The GSIII as is for a high price might not get existing customers to upgrade but they might get people from other carriers to switch.

and you got this from a metroPCS sales rep correct? going from the post you made in another thread you said the rep told you it was gonna be the first phone coming out from the new line of phones.

the rep was definitely talking about the lightray as the lightray will be coming out early next month while the s3 wont be out until october at the earliest and as late as december.

at least according to the TA of the other thread.
