Here in Michigan, last week I walked in and asked a random dealer about the phone for kicks and she had to whisper to me "the 18th" behind her boss's back. So once again today(also just for kicks) I called the same store and asked if they would still have it on the 18th since it is tomorrow. She said "hold on...yes, we are still planning to begin selling it tomorrow. Just call before you come in to make sure we still have some left." I'm not about to jump for joy, but I'll keep you all posted on that little nugget. If it turns up good and somehow no one else in the country brings them out tomorrow(yeah, right), I'll post pics, etc.
4g is cool and everything but I wanna see some pretty good specs. Like screen larger than esteem. And android 4.0
When the LG brought out the Optimus M+, it wasn't just the same phone with a different chip (albeit neither phone is 4G). There were actually some significant changes; faster and different processor, 5MP camera with flash vs 3.2MP w/o flash, CDMA EvDO rev A vs rev 0, and some other changes. I'm sure that if/when the Admire 4G comes out, it won't be the same old Admire with just a 4G chip added.

I'm just hope the phone comes out with its screen protector on already because I'm not great at applying those on lol I haven't had a screen protector on my esteem for a couple of months and it's still SPOTLESS. But always good to be safe to start out with.

lol i am not even going to be talking about any dates because metro will release the s3 whenever they ready but yea i have mine too...i think i have my cases from September lol lol

I still havent... Can't find the right slim case for the "right" price. Something like the Draco cases would be awesome but that price is too steep for a damn case, $68... GTFO Anyone here have a better slim option for a reasonable price?
got my otterbox commuter... its considered slim at least when compared to the defender ... got it for 20 bucks ebay.. free shipping... start with some youtube videos and hit ebay my friend.

oh by the way i got the slim pouch case for like you know club or party look and got the the rugged dual layer impact absorbing case for traveling or going to the beach
I got this one its very nice protective or should I say one of the best slim protective case, and trust me I researched for almost two days before buying this case and people who have previously bought any other case for example ottterbox and spigen or whatever that other one incipio said this one is the most durable.
And lol no offense but otterbox are super ugly overpriced cases.

You both have valid points.. while they make look ugly as you say.. they do offer protection and are built with the intention of doing so.. considering this is a 500 dollar device you have to pay upfront.. and like me as I plan to not put insurance.. the otterbox was my safe bet.. of insurance against the unlikely.. imo..
