yeah im pretty sure well have to pay taxes buying online im more than sure.
would be too good to get it for $500 flat or $500+shipping.
anywho here in FL well be paying somewhere around ~$540 online(plus overnight shipping)
SO if im gona have to pay ~$550 online and have to wait till monday to order the phone for TUESDAY, and we can somehow get it for somewhere(before tuesday) for around ~$560 doesnt sound bad to me, it depends if youre expecting to pay a lil extra to get the phone earlier.
But regardless, i honestly dont see us getting the phone tax free on the website just being realistic here

Wouldn't it depend on where the product is coming from? Bc I know on eBay when I buy something, I only get taxed if the item is coming from my same state. Never bought a phone online, so I'm not really sure. We live in USA tho, so theres taxes everywhere :/

no they don't pay 500 bucks up front. they pay 200. so umm you sire are wrong.
but they are locked into a contract with a 350.00 etf when thwy upgrade of sign a new contract.. they end up paying for the phone over the 2years..the phone off contract for 16gb is 549 and 32gb is 599 for sprint,verizon, at&t and tmobile

still not the samething, to come up with $500 at one time over paying $200 is a lot of money, and I never said anything about contract phones to start with, so my point is his argument to me was wrong.

Metro's price is the lowest of any carrier at this point. I doubt it'll drop lower than it is now.
To each his own, but if you spent $300 on the Esteem a year ago and now are going to spend $500 on this one just because it's the next cool thing; you'll probably spend $700 next year on something better. It gets expensive after a while for something you make phone calls on.

I wouldn't look at it that way my esteem is nice but I realize that I wanted a better and faster phone i was looking for a dual core phone and the s3 will be perfect for me I'm buying for that reason bigger screen faster and overall better than any phone I've ever owned

Wont be a long wait for all that on the S3, XDA and Rootz has that covered all ready. At most a lil porting work for the carrier info etc. Other than that most of whats available for the big carriers should work on the metro model.

im out too me and mikey and ricky bobby are over and out thanks all of u guys on the esteem section made lots of friends learned alot but its time to end thingz with a bang and since my bday is this saturday coming up im going all out take care all of ya we will come back to visit ya taunt ya tease ya make fun mikey's booty chin lol jk he knows im playing.
That depends on how much you're willing to wait for the phone too. I know all the stores around me are extremely slow on getting any of the new phones and even when they do get them in the amount of stock they keep on hand is very low so they are quickly out of stock again and the cycle starts all over.

the only difference it might make is i know for sure 100% not every location will have it monday i called 3 places yesterday they all claimed a week from yesterday so that means not monday but im calling corp 2morrow to make sure if i cant have it by monday im ordering online since they have free 2 day shipping if we order before 3pm on monday if i do it by online ill be saving only $5 but should have it before most stores have them in the tampa bay area.

Yeah Metro always does the same thing. A couple of weeks after releasing the phone they show up with a rebate. But i don't know if they will do it for this phone since it is such a popular phone already. A lot of people will just buy it at $500 price.
