Just letting you guys know that I stopped into my local Metro PCS store and talked to the owner/operator about the Samsung Galaxy s2 or s3 coming to Metro PCS and his response was as follows " The Samsung Galaxy s2 is not coming to Metro but the Samsung Galaxy s3 is coming to Metro PCS in September" That would seem about right as I have heard a lot about it coming out in the fourth business quarter.
So take that information as you will. I also asked how much it would be and he said $ 400.00. I talked to him on 7-17-2012.

I think I may wait a little longer to root my phone. After playing around trying to get better battery performance I went to bed last night with 98% and woke up this morning with 90% charge, so I'm pretty happy so far.

The numbers they give for storage is unformatted. Once you apply a File System, you lose about 1.5GB iirc, the rest is taken up by the ROM as dulal has pointed out.
The One XL came with 16GB storage, 1.5GB for the File System, 2GB for app storage, 2GB for the ROM itself, you got about 10GB to use as an actual SD Card.
At least the SGS comes with a slot for an external SD Card!
Finally got my S3. A few hours ago. Just been playing around with it while at work. Dont really like the white color. Butttttt, while I was on the bus on my way to work, I sat next to this good looking girl. I flipped open the wallet case, and all she did was stare lol. Good enough for me. Now I need to go home to really focus on this phone and customize it. Its calling for Go Launcher, badly.

Try out 360 launcher. So smooth and you don't need to download any other sub-apps for themes or messages like ex or go launcher.
No sub apps?
You don't need to download sub apps to customize go launcher.
Frankly, I don't understand why people are not sticking with go launcher.
It's THE most customizable launcher I've seen, and has all the features the newer so called better launchers taunt as what makes them "different".
Except for spb shell. That thing is definitely something else.

Nuttmeg got me using the nova launcher prime it has a lot of cool feature but im simple perhaps too simple I just go for a nice looking wall paper and some nice bottom icons and thats it i dont care about widgets, screen transition effects or anything. Spb is pure caca the eye candy features isnt worth the battery consumption. Ive tried tsf and spb and none are worth the money call me plain but I like go launcher adw and nova they keep things simple.

Lol at "extra culo points". And na no issues with the 4G. I get good coverage here. I am having problems with with zooming into a passage and having the sentences centered. Like with the Esteem we used to zoom in then double tap and it would center the words. It doesnt seem to work on the S3 for some reason.

whoah that was fast,
anyone purchase one from there yet? is so what was your total at checkout
I have ordered a bunch of phones before from wirefly. I just got through ordering the S3 from them this afternoon, and my total was $499 flat...no tax or anything.
Shipping takes a little longer than you expect but hey at least you're saving some money.
The only problem I ever had with wirefly was when I ordered my 2nd Esteem, they put the LTE card into it backwards and it took me 30 minutes to realize that...then I called them and complained about this to them and they sent me a free bluetooth headset as an inconvenience. Other than that, never had any problems with any of the phones I got from them.

i thought you could take the phone in though and activate it in the store. if purchased from wirefly, you would save on tax if you were to bring it to a store to activate it on the $30 plan.

Ha -would have been cool if the phone asked for her number....
A really smartphone with a built in voice would have done that-
...........,maybe set in the Preferences Menu for next time.
