I'd think that would be really awesome. I just feel metro is missing something.

It has been brought and I believe is in the works specifically from nokia so yeah I see it coming plus there were some sites talking about a Window phone coming to metro

Hell yeah i was always a big fan of nokia and the lumia 920 looks quite nice. Hope it does happen.

I think the GS3 coming to metro was more thanks to Samsung. It seems that Samsung wanted to really throw out its flagship to every single carrier that could take on it, they were "why not metropcs too?" , that would surely attract people to buy more GS3. So Samsung wins and wins more sales and reputation .
