NONE of the articles seem to have it nailed. They're ALL guessing based on what little they know. Again, they ain't flyin' the damn plane. All of these writers are in arenas where they have to write, to say, Something or it looks like they aren't paying attention. It's a 1000 word limit that boils down to "hell if we know!".

As I mentioned earlier, if I were S3 hunting, and I'm not, my #1 data I'd want to hear would be from a Samsung development person on what THEY KNOW the Metro S3 they just did can or can't do on the TM networkS.

It wasnt the regulators it was the sprint board of directors, sprint was having to do serious payments at that point & they didnt want to add another 9billion for metro, sprint had just promised apple to pay at least 16billion for the iphone in the next 4 years & they want to do network vision which is a complete overhaul and introduce lte. The Sprint CEO is the one that picked up the deal without mentioning it to the board.

No sprint just didn't go through, they didn't get as far as getting the deal approved because a deal was never agreed on.

Good luck with your out-of-the-box scratched phone + the two year contract that binds you! Apple's official response: "That's normal". Luckily the GSIII > Iphone 5 (sad but true)

Should have just went to T Mobile. They have basically the same pre paid plans as metro and obviously will offer more coming soon.

I don't blame you going with the iPhone 5. It's pretty much the best smartphone to date. Sprint needs to get their act together on LTE though, but nonetheless you have a winner.

Best smartphone to date?
Thats an opinion, since its just a slightly updated 4s. By the time we hit november it will be outdated, imagine what android phones will be out by next year, they will demolish any iphone 5s that comes out.

Apples thing of releasing a new phone every two years and its selfish way of them only making ios devices is whats gonna destroy them. Look how fast android caught up and surpassed apple. Its the variety and competition among oems that makes android innovate so quick. Apple has no competion amongst its own os.
So there stuck releasing phones to catch up with androids released a year before.
Apple is screwed starting this year.

When you're at the top people just love to hate. Apple is king of the smartphones and shows no signs of slowing down.

i know right...even when you sit them down and show them what android can do now its like they dont see it...to me iphone is just a brand name now... in the next year or 2 people going to get fed up with them (apple) because when they look on the androids...they going to be saying wow!

they may be the top seller, but them having the best phone is a subjective matter.

plus their sales are based much more on the quality of their brand then the quality of their phones. people may like what they have but the i5 brought nothing new to the table and didnt improve on anything other than what the previous iphone had,

which is fine when you have a strong brand name that sells on its own.

Looks like tapatalk inserted a quote from 2008. Haha. It's done that to me multiple times. So strange how that happens.

Is that why Apple is trying to shut out pretty much all the top Android phone makers?

Marketing genius'. They can make people pay for anything. Even a 99 cent adapter that should have been included with every 5 sold. But nope, Apple wants $39 for it.

When you can get people to pay for whatever they tell you to pay for, then that makes them marketing moguls. Thus in turn making it "appear" that they are the leaders.

I think "old" technology was brought up with the Nexus? I mean seriously? What would you call technology on I4 and I5 that was available years before their release?
