I just have this feeling inside that we're not going to get much phones in the 1st half of 2013 while we wait for approval for the merger, it's going to be like a couple months ago when metro barely released any phones because they thought they were going to be bought by sprint for sure. Then watch the 2nd half there's going to be a onslaught of new affrordable phones without CDMA capability.
But that's just what I think is gonna happen

metropcs took a large step with the gs3 and took them a long time to make such a step so any question about the gs4 consider it a long shot but not a impossible one.

True- it took Metro forever to come up with the top of the line Galaxy S3 -their first ever
State of the Art phone.
The Galaxy has gotten them more respect and IF it brought
Metro many new customers, maybe we'll see more of these top tier phones from

It probably took so long because they had to wait for the price to be low enough where if they subsidized it the SAC(Subscriber Acquisition Cost) was within reasonable levels

Im sure thats another reason, but I remember someone posting a metro pcs survey asking if we would be willing to buy a phone for a lil bit more than what we were paying previously. I think metro took that survey as a green light to go all out.
i think with the success of teh sgs3 in terms of how many they have sold has pretty much greenlighted they idea of people are willing to have a high end device
I dont ask for much, but my friend is going through some rough times,
if you wish to donate to me send it his way, he needs it more than i do Donate here

When I bought mine, the rep said "Adding this phone to our line-up was the smartest thing Metro ever did... we're signing up more new customers than ever before, and I can't keep this phone on the shelves - there's a waiting list like you wouldn't believe.... you're lucky you got this one when you did!"
I would say we are seeing as though the success of GS3 paid off (extremely well at least) for them. I would just say a couple of months after the big carriers.

i dont think ill be buying another phone for maybe another 2 years lol i think this dual core phone does a good job with all my apps and games so more cpu power or higher resolution phone wont interest me for now. The only other phone that had my attention was the note 2 other than that i have a galaxy s3 and a nexus 7 32 gb so i dont have a need for any more toys lol

I think the gs3 is ready for that change.besides didnt they say we will eventually be on volte? If so I dont see our phones even bothering with 1x anymore, but I am concerned that making our phones more dependant on its 4g will cause our phones to consume more battery power, hopefully that wont be the case but who knows.

I'm right there with ya. The only other phone I would consider would be the note 2. Just a bigger S3.

Yea some peeps think by getting a quad core phone that their messenging app is going to open faster and that their angrybirds game will go so fast maing their phone burst into flames............or something along the lines of that lol. truth is i dont really multi-task on my phone i dont see myself checking my email while playing asphalt 7 and tweeting in the same time lol. my only reason for a dual core phone was for the simple fact that these high end graphic games are demanding more power like modern combat 4 and asphalt 7 and many other games. then again they say alot more than you need is better than not sufficient
