Default Las Vegas 4G LTE Results

I received/activated my new LG Motion 4G yesterday.

(Originally, it only received 1x/EV data. As it turns out, this is a common problem with MetroPCS related to an unactivated SIM card. MetroPCS chat solved this within 5 minutes and the 4G indicator appeared.)

I ran speedtest.net at 2 different locations:

Smoke Ranch / Tenaya (Work): 1.4mbps down / 4mbps up
Charleston / Jones (Home): 4mbps down / 5 mbps up

I don't mind the speed at work since we have WiFi available, but 1.4mbps down for 4G LTE isn't exactly top notch. FYI to anyone needing speed in Vegas.

I'm sure it has the latest prl but did you try updating it anyway?

My Motion was only 2 weeks old (12-29) from a Metro Corporate store and it didn't have the current PRL.

Easy enough to do with help from here.
