Do you mean Irvine California? I travel up and down the state and lose service hardly. I cut out between 4g and 1x around the grapevine. But i have talk/data/text for the most part.

Traveling along US 101 from Paso Robles to Irvine, I've only experienced a break in 4G coverage from just south of Santa Maria to Goleta, which is just before Santa Barbara.

However, I still had 1x coverage during that time.

Use the Sensorly app. I myself mapped pretty much everything from Paso Robles to Ventura, so that will be reliable, at least.
