Default Im stuck in a boot loop. please help me

So I was planning never to root or mess with my S4, but I did.
I found this torrent and have only used that. here is a link to that torrent; thepiratebay. se/torrent/10104919/
METROPCS_TMOBILE_GalaxyS4_M919N_AIO_
ROOT_STOCKIMAGE_
ROM_MORE_-FI

It came with Odin 3.07 and the stock rom for metropcs but at 4.3 this other thing called UVUAMDL, ODIN3 v1.85, openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.1-jflteMetroPCS.tar file, and also three roms called kitkat 4.4 v5, v7 and v8.

So I went ahead and used odin to install openrecovery, essentially the twrp. Afterwards my phone was fine and i used root checker from the app store to see that I indeed have root access. I then installed goo manager and even bought the rom toolbox pro. The goo manager specifically pist me of because every time I searched for roms it showed nothing, an empty list.

I then got a popup i believe from goo mangager telling me i didn't have a running script? so i installed that or I believe I installed that. That didn't help my problem and was still unable to use any roms.

At this point I used the roms that came with the torrent and that ruined my phone. The first rom was called kitkat 4.4 v5. After "flashing" it thru twrp recovery my phone would reset itself everytime the screen went black. It would boot, I could use my phone mildy normally but everytime the screen went black and I pressed the power button it would reset.

So I had two choices, try to take back all the modifications I had done or keep going. I chose to keep going and proceeded to flash the kitkat 4.4 v7 rom that came with the torrent and that finally bricked my phone.

I've been trying to install the stock rom 4.3 that came with my torrent and that doesn't work. I thought it worked but every time it gets to the metropcs boot animation it just stops there. I don't know what to do now.

Flashing a rom that works should fix your boot loop. Check out the Unofficial All Things Root Guide that is stickied in this forum. It has a bunch of roms that work well with our phone as well as other info. Follow the directions for the rom you want to flash.

You should have started here instead of an unknown torrent.
Lesson learned I hope.
Good luck.

Oh and the reason goo manager didn't show you any roms for your device is that there are none specifically for our S4. We use tmobile roms and some att.

Hello everyone I am very new to this area of computing (and this forum). However I have still ended up in the same hole as you guys are describing although it happened for a completely different reason. (BTW: I am rooted)

one day I tryed to play the android game NOVA 3 on my Nexus 7 on the highest graphical setting so I went and researched how to do this. I was pointed towards some kind of app called 'ChainFire 3D', Once I pressed the install button inside this app the Nexus 7 switched off and the next time I tried to turn it on I got the X logo of death (boot loop). I then tried to enter recovery and I got the annoying 'no command' error. I cant seem to remember how I rooted this thing but I do have access to the fastboot stuff ONLY (inside cmd).

if there is anyone who has any idea how to go about fixing such an issue without wiping everything on my nexus could they please get back to me ASAP.

You might want to post this in a Nexus 7 forum. But generally, to fix a boot loop, you'll re-flash a ROM. I don't remember the specifics (because I have everything backed up all the time), but you'll not want to wipe data. So for your case, I would think you'd want to flash the SAME ROM you have on your phone, and not wipe data. But post in a Nexus forum. There should be one here, if not, you can try xda developers.
