i'm not sure but i doubt micromax made any roms or anything i doubt that they even have devs making roms for their phone..

because all their phones are imported from china the phones are made by aliyun [alibaba] and micromax just sells their phone with their name on it.. [oem]

now u guys should contact the chinese guys instead of micromax they could release kernel source.. because i have also seen a confidencial pdf of the board of a85..

ahh i found the orignal author..

Dont waste your time looking for the Kernel Source Code. They do not have it. They dont even have a repair centre here which is why your handsets take so long to be fixed IF its broken. Everything is goin back to China for any work to be done on it.

I had my lawyers strong arm the callcentre and corporate offices and got it out of them that they do not have anything in india and source everything from China. They receive preinstalled units from China and just pack and dispatch them from here. This is why they keep saying they cant give us the K/code. They havent even seen it let alone send it to us.

MMX is a Reseller. Thats it. They cannot support the devices nor can they develop it. If they were capable of doin so they wouldnt be able to sell the handsets at throw away prices. Somone on this thread suggested finding the seller but good luck dealing with the Chinese. I deal with them on a daily basis for my business and trust me you aint gonna get diddly from em.
