i spoke to Ritu, the supervisor of the R&D Dept, and was told that once the source code is manufacture modified, it becomes licensed and they are not liable to release it.
I spoke to Manish at the Technical Department and he agrees as well that they cannot deny the code if requested even if it has been modified by them.
just show them this
lg has modified it and released

This is some headway at the very least.
Ritu should know that even if manufacture modified it they are liable to provide it.Better she should know what Open Source concept is.
Quote:
Open Source software is software whose source code is published and made available to the public, enabling anyone to copy, modify and redistribute the source code without paying royalties or fees. Open source code can evolve through community cooperation. These communities are composed of individual programmers as well as very large companies.
Quote:
The most prominent and popular example is the GNU General Public License (GPL), which “allows free distribution under the condition that further developments and applications are put under the same licence” – thus also free.
Quote:
GPL grants the recipients of a computer program the rights of the free software definition and uses copyleft to ensure the freedoms are preserved, even when the work is changed or added to.

She is. When i asked her does she know what does the GPL state she started stutturing. I made it clear to her that just by modifying a few lines to the frame work, it doesnt make it a propitiatory code. if they did that, they are liable to lose the licencing from Google for theft and that she and her department will be out of a job. Thats when she put me to Manish who was from the Spares Dept and he put me to Ashish who one of the developers.

they are nuts, they don't know what they are saying.they must get court notice and if they still behave too smart then anti micromax campaign will start so that nobody will buy their products and they have to stop selling android phones.
if you guys are gonna be fighting a faceless entity, you need to be prepared in all manners. Its time to start documenting all your requests, their replies and everything else.
guys reply fast they are asking for what we want,i dnt know much about what are the things we need.so just reply here or check facebook page and post there what exactly we need hurryyy..........................

Sorry there is prob in my browser.
Goutham just tell them that we will give high priority to kernel source and not firmware or bootloader.
Tell them we want kernel source first if they are ready to give all then its well and good but first priority is for kernel souece.
i think no need to create a website.if we want we can create a page for a70 in Facebook.we all can become members there, invite other users and we can continue our campaign there also.if we use the term hacking then media might think as we are demanding for kernel source instead of its a right for all users who using android device.
am happy today they replied many of us and they asked me and abhishek for what we want.so its good sign for us.also wants to thank those who called them on their phone number and talked to them.we should not stop our campaign until we get kernel source code and we have to keep on emotional atyachaaring them

sure we are not at all going to stop our campaign until we get the kernel source code.they should post it on their main wall as micromax is releasing kernel source code for A70 model.no retirement from campaign until we get the code.

without adityadeva this campaign would have been dead
I am very committed to you guys. I will never let you down.
I bought this mobile because an Indian company manufactured(?) a decent hardware. I wanted to see the name of our nation in XDA Devs. It could be slow but we could do it.
a company from our own nation has let us down. every time I think of it, it reminds me of the traitors who handed over our nation to britishers due to their selfishness and inefficiency.
that flame is in me.
