THE GOOD NEWS: The MID7042 has been ROOTED! (yeah!). Google Play Working! (yeah!)

BAD NEWS: Not 100% yet. The developer is still ironing out the kinks
Should be ready to install next 2 / 3 days.

We've gotten it. You still have to push gapps with adb.

Someone either needs to script it or solve it installing via recovery..

But if you don't mind using adb or Android Commander to push the gapps package, it can be rooted and fully functional.
