Default screen wakeup other than power button

I have tried different apps (no lock, fix power button, just to name a few) with no success for my Admiral.

Has anyone successfully installed an app that will wakeup the screen besides using the power button on an Admiral?

thanks.

From what I understand almost all phones only have one wake up button. Thats to stop accidental unlocks. But I could be wrong
