Default Gingerbread Update 2.3.6 SUCKS X(

Good night.. I've been searching on the internet the whole day for a way to root my Atrix 2 after At&tīs 3.6 update with no results.. All I get is a workaround option IF you haven't done the update yet. It helps you keep your rooted privileges even after updating.. By this time you probably know I DIDNīT and 50% of the applications I use require root access... I will like to know if someone found a way to deal with this already or if there's any workaround as this will become a BIG issue for me ion the days to come if I don't find a way to fix it..

Thanks in advance brothers. =)

see here: UPDATE[02/06/12] The Beginners Guide !!! (NOOBS)[ALL IN 1 RESOURCE GUIDE] - xda-developers you need to 'flash the fxz' to get back to shipping firmware, then run the 4ever root mod, and then allow the OTA upgrade to 2.3.6. You will lose apps and data, but not whatever is on your sdcard. enjoy.

The Motorola ATRIX 2 is AT&T's followup to their original ATRIX 4G. It won't differ much in terms of specs, but this would bring Ma Bell up to speed with more recent offerings from Sprint and Verizon in the Photon 4G and the DROID Bioni... Read More
