Default Internal Storage on Atrix

Just wondering if the internal storage for the Atrix can be utilized for music and movies?

Moto in all its infinite wisdom put 8 gigs of internal memory on the Droid X but it can only be used to store apps. How in the world any user is ever going to download 8 gigs worth of apps is beyond me...

yes. I don't have any music there, as all that's on the SD card (it was on there when I moved from another phone). I have placed a couple movies on the internal storage, simply because there was no more room on the sd card and a WHOLE LOT of empty space on the phone.
