Atrix was alright for what it was, no comparison to my Samsung Galaxy S2
Skyrocket.
Outside of LTE the Atrix can do anything the Skyrocket can do. I've owned both and the Skyrocket is very nice but it's not heads and shoulders above the Atrix.

The screen on the Skyrocket is definitely WAY better than the Atrix. I'm not sure "head and shoulders" would be strong enough to describe the difference.
Other than that I agree the Atrix is equal or even better than the Skyrocket. The fingerprint reader on the Atrix will always give it an extra boost in my mind. AT&T is still a long way from having LTE in my area, so I don't care about that.
The atrix was ok for what it was. The S2's 1.5ghz dualcore vs atrix dual 1ghz along with the S2's superior other features surpassed the atrix all around.

What superior features are you referring too? (Outside of the 1.5 dual core and super amoled screen.) Just curious.
Device(s): Motorola Atrix HD (and loving it)
Motorola Atrix (AKA SUPERPHONE)
Motorola Defy (on AT&T - shelved)

I am STILL waiting for a phone that is better than the Atrix. I am actually both proud of Moto for having launched a phone over a year ago that still has yet to be surpassed by any noticable amount as well as kinda ticked off that no one has made a phone that's really even equal to the Atrix. (On AT&T)
The HTC One X is the closest yet, but even though it offers 4G LTE connection, a nice big bright screen, better camera, a better processor and equal on board storage (16 GB) and RAM (1GB) it has NO UPGRADABLE STORAGE?!?! No capability for a data card. I mean REALLY????
I was excited there for a minute till I found out about that. I mean who besides "the fruits" offers a phone with finite storage?
No the Atrix with dual core 1 GB processor, 1GB RAM, 16 GB onboard storage and upgradeable to 48 GB of storage, decent camera and screen, AND fingerprint scanner...there's just nothing out there WORTH spending more money on to "upgrade" too. It's more of a sidegrade than an upgrade.
Most offerings are better in one place but sacrifice in others. Nothing has proved to be head and shoulders better than the Atrix. And FWIW I got my Atrix a week after they came out, and have never had any real issues that have been mentioned on this site, never had to change phones. It's been a champ.
Until someone WOWS me like the Atrix did when it came out, I am staying right here and saving money for when they do.

Well said. I would add all the docks as well. I have the Lapdock and standard dock. Love them both. You have phones that can mirror to a bigger screen, but for everyday mobile use, the lapdock is a must. I love playing games, but I have 4 game consoles at home to play on the big screen, which have better games. The Atrix 4G is by far the most in being a productive phone. I think the SG Note is a cool phone/tablet to. I like the specs., but its just to big and I don't like the pin. (I'd rather type text.)
I hope Motorola makes a better Atrix that's compatible with the original lapdock. I use my Lapdock everyday.
The Motorola Atrix 4G brings several firsts to AT&T's lineup, among them a dual-core CPU in the form of NVIDIA's Tegra 2 platform. The CPU is clocked at 1GHz per core, providing enough zip to match the HSPA+ connectivity and 4G download... Read More
