Default How to dump old pics from used Bravo or reformat sd

bought a used bravo a few days ago (1st smartphone) and its got like 150 random pictures and a few videos on it nothing I want to keep.I have been trying to get them off but they won't budge -if i reformat sd will i lose much-heck are the pictures even on the SD ? I have added about 8 free apps ,a free book and i have a whooping 3 contacts -losing data is NOT an issue

Since loosing data is not a problem. Maybe you should root the phone and install Cyanogenmod 7 on it. you can use this link for more info
