Hi, my name is Geoff and I've been an unfortunate motorola dext (canadian cliq) owner for about a year. My carrier is Bell mobility, not t-mobile. I have been sick of this phone since a week after I bought it. It was great up until the second week then everything slowed to a near-halt and hissy-fit moments ensued.

Im having trouble finding anything that looks like it would help me as this phone is crap but I saw that there is an update for android 2.1 out there for T-mobile. Is there a way to make it work for my phone on Bell mobility? Will this make it run better as in less freezing, smoother operation? also, im close to just buying a new phone so if there is a risk of bricking it I might be interested in taking it.
