un wanted paid apps

so a couple of weeks before i got my CLIQ i bought my wife the Open Home app for her HTC Hero. she didnt like it and uninstalled it, but i want it on my CLIQ now. so i emailed the developers and they said i could get it on my phone by logging onto her market place account. does anyone know how i would do this?

Hmm... can't imagine how that would work? I don't think you can log into the Android Market from your phone with a different user's ID???

You could certainly log-in to the market from your wife's phone and re-download... but the app would still be on her phone and not yours??? I wonder what the developer was referring to???
