My phone recently gave me an update for what I believe is this Motorola Devour to Receive Update Tomorrow, Not Android 2.1 | Android Phone Fans

after it downloaded and the phone turned off to reboot it is now stuck on the turn on screen, just the white screen with the motorola M and blur flashing.

It has been 2 hours off nothing what should I Do?

Your phone is ****ed. I declined to get the update (I was on the phone) and then I guess when I set the phone on the couch it offered it again and since I didn't decline it it did it. It got stuck at the first powerup screen. Couldn't even get the blur to fade in. Hot hot mess. They're out of Devours (maybe if multiple people have had this issue they might have gotten some back and refurbed them by now) and so they'll try to send you a LG Ally new with the battery and all. If you want the Droid...it's gonna be an issue because they have some of those refurbed in stock and so they'll want to send you that and have you go in the store to pick up a battery.

Thank you, I did a hard reset to get it back working after being stuck at the update screen. I am thinking of trading this phone in.
