Angry Overheating - could be dangerous ! !

I have a Motorola DROID2 GLOBAL.
I am not sure what triggers it, but sporatically this phone battery gets too hot to touch. It will not charge during these events.

I feel this is dangerous, and may be a design flaw. This is my second battery ! Both batteries do the same thing.

HAs anyone investigated this design yet?

it would actually be in your best interest to take the phone to vzw and describe to them the issue you are having, because an overheating phone that does it constantly, will do untold damage to the phone.

are you rooted or overclocked?
