Missed calls is green. I know that is what the Droid 1 had and it changed to red, I think because of something I installed. I use K-9 mail and can set a different color for each email account. There are many colors. I use handcent for text messages and can also set from a choice of quite a few colors. I think I can set a different color for voicemail but the missed call notification pretty much alerts me to that.

ETA: Red is still the color for "low battery".

I use SMS Popup for custom text notifications, and the LED is multi-colored like the previous droids - so no worries.

Missed call is green and I haven't found a way to change that.
Low battery is red
I use handcent for SMS and I can set a color for that.(I think it's orange)
I use K-9 for email and have 3 accounts set up in that. I have a different color for each of the 3 email accounts.

I think that's all I have right now.

Thanks, I knew it could be done threw apps, but the vague "yes" to the OPs question seems to point that it can be done in-phone.

I think I misunderstood the OP question. To me, multicolored LED means the LED is capable of multiple colors.

There is no way using the stock apps/settings to have your system notifications rotate through multiple colors for the LED.
