Default Removing the back cover of droid 3

So yeah. This may seem ridiculous but I just got my droid 3 and foolishly put the back cover on prematurely with all my excitement. Now i need to get my SD card in and i CANT get the back to come off and I am afraid to break it. I was thinking I could take it to the store and get assistance but I was hoping for a "home remedy" ?? Any thoughts?

Take a look here - Battery Cover Removal - and see if it helps.

It seems to loosen up a bit over time. The first few times you take it off, it feels like you have to almost break the things to get it off.

Weirdly enough, mine seems to have stiffened up. But grabbing the front and giving the back a push upward towards the power button seems to help it some what (in my experience). Any credit card or similar object will make taking the back off simple.
