Default Screen locked

Hey guys, in serious need of some help.

So my phones been working perfect for the months ive had it. All of a sudden when I long press on the homescreen/background as if i were trying to change my wallpaper or move an icon it says in the notification bar 'Screen Locked' and i have NO idea why that happens and have looked everywhere i can think in my settings with no luck.

Just to clarify, this has NOTHING to do with the lock screen encountered when turning my device on, but more of a homescreen lock that prevents me from moving icons or anything of that nature. Any help is greatly appreciated.
