Default Change Keyboard

I Just got a droid 3 and I am trying to change the keyboard but I am having no luck. This is not my first Android either. I just switched to the 3 from the Casio Commando.

Can somebody help me figure out how to change to the regular phone style keyboard. Like the old button style phones instead of the individual letters. I want to be able to use this when the phone is vertical.

Thanks
Chad

I think that Go Keyboard from the Play Store has a style like that. See https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.gokeyboard&feature=search_result #?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5qYi5nb2tleWJvYXJkIl0.
