Default Few steps forward, few steps back.

Good:

Even nicer keyboard

Same zippy upgrade in chip and ram as Razr

Webtop (if you use it)

Bad:

No replaceable battery (extended option is good on D3)

Need a key to swap sd cards

FM radio function gone

Apparently same display as D3 (Razr display tech is better). A smaller version of the Razr display would have been nice.

Several GB internal storage gone due to Webtop

Seems that of all the recent device refreshes, most Droid 3 folks should be the least upset.

Yeah, I was wondering if a fingernail would do.

It comes with a special little tool that is used to remove a part of the back so you are able to swap SD cards.

No you wont be SOL. A ball point pen will remove the back cover as well.

I have a 64GB card, so no biggie, but having the same apparent display as the D3 is an issue for me. They should have went with the Razr display tech. Much better.

I hope this info is incorrect, since the D3 display has ghosting with certain colors.

I was nosing through this forum as I'm interested in this phone. I have the Razr Maxx but sometimes miss my old slide out keyboard.

I had a heck of a time opening the door to put the sim card in too. I ended up using my CVS keychain card, you know, the small one you put on your key ring. I didn't notice any special tool to open that door in the packaging.

It's in a little pink bag, a little bit smaller than a guitar pick.
