Default Quick Launch removed with ICS release?

I wonder why they did that? Oversight?

I any case after the ICS update the short-cut keys through Quick Launch are no more. So anyone found a work-a-round?

Any news on this? I'd love to have custom keyboard shortcuts on my Transformer Infinity!
