Cry DLNA Won't shut off!

First of all, Droid 4, ICS 4.0.4.

So I decided to play with MotoCast. What a mistake. DLNA turns itself on randomly now. I get a notification at the top of the screen that says "DLNA session active | End session to conserve battery" Then when I click on it it says "DLNA is currently active and could be draining the battery. Would you like to end the session to conserve battery?"

I click Yes, but in another few minutes, there it is again. I'm not turning WiFi off and on again, I'm not leaving the WiFi area, the WiFi is not turning off. It just pops up....whenever....and it seems to be draining my battery. I looked in the app drawer and cannot find DLNA like I had in my Droid X. All I can do is clear the data and it seems to go away for a little longer, but sure enough it pops up again.

I don't want to have to root, but if that is the only to get rid of it, I guess I'll have to do it. Moto HAS to have another way to shut if off or at least disable it.

Thanks for any and all help
