That's an easy fix and cheap if you can do it yourself as long as the basket and the motor are in good condition.

If the Prime does away with the current capacitive buttons, in favor of the honeycomb styled ones, that would offer more screen space, without physically making the device bigger.

For this reason, you may want to consider the screen size relative to the actual physical device dimensions.

im not too keen on the differences between capacitive buttons and the honeycomb one. is capacitive like the physical buttons you have to push? whats honeycomb then? like what i have on my Incredible?

Capacitive buttons are separate from the screen, Honeycomb buttons are just icons on the screen.

I googled fixing blown speakers and still couldn't do it. I hope your rates are cheap!

I get parts pretty cheap, the glue is what costs the money but either way, there's not much money in rebuilding subs since there's a lot of people doing it so the market is kind of flooded. Sometimes though, the parts and glue are more expensive than the actual sub! LOL But the parts I'd use will raise the power handling slightly and allow for abuse and essentially make the sub a lot better than it was. My rates are very cheap compared to some and I use the best parts on the market. Keep in mind though, I use parts that are built to be abused so they're meaty and not meant for home theater woofers with small motors but I can accommodate them with a lower end of parts that will still last but are more "home theater" and low power application friendly. That's a discussion for another time though so I'll stop cluttering up this thread, I guess it's something to talk about since there's no real info on the Bionics release date.

Hmmm. If it were my home theater system, you can bet your bottom dollar it would be getting abused!

Some people root their phones, others hotrod their subwoofers.

I'm actually running subless now, just upgraded to a pair of Mackie MR5's. Strong bottom end, plenty for electronic music.

Fake. All I can hear is "thunderbolt by HTC on the most powerful 4th network". When will we get something real? If pre orders are going to be on the 1st (10 days from now) shouldn't we be starting to hear something.

You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense.

Hello gentlemen....

Seeing that the Bionic is getting close to release I thought I'd drop these 2 resource threads in case anyone has GPS issues. Seeing that the Droid 3 and Bionic both use the same GPS/Processor it MAY or may NOT be an issue but it can't hurt to have these threads at your disposal in case you or someone else run into the same problem(s)

These are for information and reference purposes ONLY because the Bionic deploys the same set-up (GPS/TI OMAP 4430).

https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/54410

Waiting for gps signal???

Interesting. I did see people worried about the GPS of this phone. I do use GPS a lot... I think this just pushed me over the edge... I will wait for HTC Vigor.

Wait, the Bionic will be released with ICS? But the Prime will be the first with ICS? So now the Prime is coming out before the Bionic??

ICS?

So, if it's ICS, then the Prime must be coming before the Bionic. And if the Bionic is coming in September... then we should be seeing the Prime very soon.

Default When Will Bionic Be Officially Confirmed? A week before? 2 Weeks Before

So when will they announce release date of Bionic?

A week before release date?
2 weeks before release date?
3 Weeks before release date?

What is the normal announce time period for Verizon?

because if it is usually announced 3 weeks before, then that prob means Bionic isnt coming September 8th

And, of course, we *never* do that in these forums.

Nope, no sirree, never, ever, *EVAH* do that here.

Not even on Sundays. Even when we're going out to get our own ICSs.

My guess is that with an imminent announcement of the SGSII coming that VZW is gonna quietly open it up for us to pre-order around Aug 29....

Yep it's always a silent release. Leaks, leaks leaks and one day, there it is on their site to be ordered.

Yea... i dont know why they do that.. If it was upto me, i would announce it like at least a month early to stop people from buying other phones and wait up for my product.

Agreed. I don't get this type of marketing strategy.

Only thing i can think of is because of carriers. Other people not buying phones and waiting will be bad for them obviously...

Yes, I agree. Announcing to early stops customers from buying other Verizon phones as well.

Also, Verizon dosn't announce a phones release date until they are virtually assured (99.99+%) that they can release the phone on that date. If they announce to early something could happen that might delay the release date. Just think of the posts here if Verizon announced a date 30+ days in the future and then the boat from China sank and umpteen million phones went to the bottom? I can see it now, " Wah wah, they promised, yada yada, class action, blah blah, going to AT&T, whine.... etc."

Here another leak, (Not official) from UnWiredView:

Verizon Motorola Droid Bionic shown with September 8 release date and $299.99 price once again Unwired View

Lol. yea, but i think it has more to do with carriers not wanting people holding out for a certain phones. and i doubt phones get shipped which will take upto 2-3 months from china. ships are slow....

Default The Droid Bionic and LG Enlighten show up on Verizon’s TestMan site!!!

The Droid Bionic and LG Enlighten show up on Verizon’s TestMan site

For all of us that are waiting for the highly anticipated Motorola Droid Bionicto arrive at Verizon. It is expected to arrive at stores on September 8th according to Verizon’s InfoManager system, although Verizon has yet to confirm any date. The latest indication of a near release date comes from the Droid Bionic showing up in Verizon’s TestMan site, which will often happen when a device is near release. The price is showing $99,999.99 since this isn’t a real product page and merely a placeholder. The real expected price is supposed to be $299.99.

I guess they're not very detail-oriented. SAMOLED on a Moto device is impossible.

Why were the commercial threads locked?

Regardless, that does look like Natalie Portman at the second half of the 18th second.

Does anyone know if the sword will be sold as an accessory?
