I've got my OG Droid in a Sena sleeve - naked when I use it, clothed in my bag.

if your accident prone and don't mind the phone feeling like a hand grenade in your hand then go with an otter box.

Naked at first. I hope the back is like the Droid X because the Droid X is built like a tank!

prob gonna get a skin to prevent scratches from keys.
I looked up Droid X skins, but noticed that all of them looks terrible because of way the phone is shaped(kinda like Bionic)
can anyone recommend good carbon fiber(or something along the line) skin brand?

I like my phones nakey.
I had a case on my current phone, but it added 2-3mm around the whole body of the phone. Taking it off was very pleasuring.

100% naked...
The phones look ugly with cases and they protect a phone that will be worth very little in 2 years anyways...

I'd prefer naked, but if suspect Verizon will only be offering a case/holster combo, and nothing designed for the naked phone, just like with the Droid 3.

On a completely unrelated note, can you change your image?

Naked with a screen protector. This is the way I normally go and with the Bionic, the phone looks to be pretty thick already, so I'll stick with that.

Naked, if it is anything like the Droid, when it has a case on, it don't fit the docking stations.

I sleep naked. Otherwise, it's too uncomfortable. Especially during summer.
EDIT: Oh, how embarrassing!
I misread the title. I would probably go naked depending on what material the Bionic was made of. If it is some rubber-like material, naked definately. If it is easily stratch-able material, then maybe a case. TBH, it already looks like it is in a case.

My "X" has a screen protector only. Had a clear case on it the first month I had it but that made usind the desk doc and the car doc a pain in the butt.
So, if and when I get a bionic or whatever phone I get it will be the same.... screen protector only.

Sadly, Sena isn't showing a case for Bionic yet, although, I'd assume a X2 case would work.

I know! I keep checking.
My husband has a DX2 (in an otterbox - good lord that thing's a brick) so I can try to eyeball it to guess if a DX2 sleeve would work. I really like the feel of the leather. I put two iPod touches and my Droid in those suckers.
I don't like silicone cases or skins.

I usually go naked with my phones, since the tech is old and obsolete by the time I'd ever consider it for resale, but I do like the gel cases for the Charge. They don't add much bulk and keep things light.
If I can find one of those, I'll probably consider it.

Does anyone know where I would get a decent case and screen protector for the Bionic? I havent seen any as of yet.
I heard the Verizon store will have them but I doubt they will give them to me for free and I know they will be overpriced.

I have a Sena leather sleeve for my OG, I for one cannot stand snap on cases, they all add too much bulk for my liking, and cover up all the design and form of the phone. I will probably get a sena sleeve when they become available.
Along the same lines, does anyone else think its hilarious when you buy a new phone and the vzw rep asks you about a case and screen protector and you say no, and they get the flabergasted look on their face? Happens to me every time.

In addition, I like to keep a charged battery on hand and switch out. Don't want to mess with taking a case on and off. Easy access is the way to go.
When the Motorola Droid Bionic was first announced at CES 2011, it featured a 4.3-inch qHD display, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, and support for Verizon's 4G LTE high-speed network. After the handset was delayed, Motorola... Read More
