Default Fellow Bioni-teers: Post your homescreens

I'd love to see what everybody has done to their homescreens on their lovely Bionics. You can screenshot with this app (ShootMe, removed from the market because the reviews got the developer pissed) if rooted, or unrooted, with this guide.

I'll go first. I'm not rooted.

Well then, this seems to be my first post as a Senior Member. Happy days.

Along with the picture should come a description of how to replicate. IE Widgets and custom launchers.

Specifically, what is that widget in the bottom right corner?

Here's Mine:
Beautiful Widgets for clock/weather.
My own self made background.

I am using GO Launcher EX, default theme, with the Vortex Galaxy live wallpaper.

On the top is Elixir 2 Widget.
Then the toggle widgets (wifi, bluetooth, gps, and airplane mode).
Then is Google Music.
On the bottom right is the Circle Battery Widget, the only one I can find to accurately give me a battery percentage to 1 percent. It's normally, white, but it turns a yellow-green when it's being charged, orange when under 30%, then red under 10%.

Thanks for the Battery Widget, going to give Elixir a try as well.

I'm getting the runaround from the SDK about installing properly - not going according to instruction in the guide. I'll try later when I'm more awake.

I'm surprised that with 2.3.4 we can't take screenshots. Power+home doesn't turn the thing off, but it doesn't capture either.

I keep my homepage fairly simple.
I'm still using the stock launcher as I find it pretty good so far, no lagginess at all.
Beautiful Widgets , and I grabbed that battery widget previously mentioned.

I was getting the same problem using "Andross." Try "DroCap2," that app has been working for me.

Yeah, I find that it has tons of features that LauncherPro, or even LauncherPro Plus, does not have.

Yes, if you click on any of the app icons below in the "add to dock" list that pops up it will replace the icon you just long pressed on.

Great thread. Thanks for doing this. I love seeing what everybody's done and downloaded. I'm in the process of trying to drain my battery right now and have everything turned on and running, but when I can figure out how to do this, I will contribute mine. But here's a question: WHICH home screen do you wanna see? ;-) I have three configured so far and working on a fourth. And I keep messing with it... and, of course, now that I've seen everyone else's and learned about some cool new apps and widgets, I'm going to mess some more, I'm sure... LOL. Plus, I have to swap two of the pages completely because I want different stuff on the "main" home screen!

Edit: OK, nevermind. I am not smart or techie enough to do all that SDK stuff. So I probably won't be sharing a screenshot. :-( Too bad. It's cool. LOLOL!

Nice, sx4dude.

tesusenoh, I may have to try that circular battery app! Methinks you've started the new trend of the week.

I've been playing with LauncherPro and Go Launcher, and decided the stock one is what I need. I'm just using Folder Organizer instead.

I'm definitely a minimalist when it comes to homescreens. I like it simple.

I'm rooted but still using the stock launcher at the moment. I was using LPP on my OG Droid but so far I like the stock launcher though I do miss my scrolling bar at the bottom.

I had been using Beautiful Widgets and still do for some of the other widget toggles but I wanted to try something different with the Bionic and so far, I've settled on the Advanced Clock Widget Pro and like the simplicity of it.

Normal Calendar
Circle Battery Widget

Top Row L-R:
GMail
Dolphin HD
Market

Bottom Row L-R
Normal Dialer

BTW, I have other crap on other screens, I'll post em in a little bit. Also, I have LTE turned off. I only turn it on when Im out and about and need to D/L something.

Nothing fancy, just very minimalist and practical. I'm using Launcher Pro with the Go Launcher EX themed icons. The background selection is also a partial test for better battery life, as I try to avoid high color saturation.

In the upper left is the weatherbug widget, and I use gestures for most dock icons, to add utility. In the second photo I have my more often used shortcuts.

Sorry peeps, I love Apple. Got a 13" Air, iMac, and iPods all over the place. But for phones, I prefer Android.

But yeah, I'm half a iSheep, I guess. The apple logo and "apple" is a lot sharper on my screen. the screenshot app I used SUCKS. Sorry for the graininess.

Finally happy with my set up. Loving this wallpaper I came across.
The stock launcher is surprisingly pretty slick so I'm going to stick with it, even though the horizontal app drawer is not ideal.

Using Genie News widget, Jorte calendar widget, Beautiful Widgets for the time/weather, Circle Battery widget, Widgetsoid for translucent power widget, Evernote.

Love it! Where'd you get that background? me wants

Not sure actually where I originally found it, but used reverse image lookup to get one version here:

Uploading my file too just in case something happens there.

New picture.

Switched to GO Launcher EX. I couldn't stand the horizontal scrolling app drawer and having my app drawer button not being in the middle.

As you can tell, I have a thing for black and blue.

Center(default home):
Beautiful Widgets Superclock 4x2 with Honey Blue skin
GO Launcher EX with Evolve Theme

Left Screen:
Slacker Radio
Music Player

Right Screen:
Elixir2 Widget
Power Control
Circle Battery 1x1 | Verizon Data Usage | Battle.net Authenticator Widget

It's not "Super Clock" - just, err, regular I guess.

That's definitely the name.

I am using Launcher Pro on a single screen. I have Elixir2 at top, Beautiful Home Weather at center, and power control at bottom. Replaced the browser with Dolphin HD while using the same icon.

Beautiful Widgets + Go Launcher

Very simple, I have more clutter on the other screens, home screen is for looking at

Edit: Kind of a dumb question, but what is that icon to the right of my Battery supposed to mean?

It's your alarm clock indicator.

I use DDMS.bat from the Android SDK to make my screen caps....

downside is I cannot do it while I'm away from my computer, but upside is that it is fast and easy.

Mine:

This is subject to change as I find new apps to accomplish more of what I've been using other apps for in the past....

Top: BW Weather 4 x 1
Next: CalWidget (left) and SSI gTasks (right)
BG: Nissan GT-R road test - rain - California

Here is my main screen, finally found an app that doesn't need root

Phone info:

Glass widget Clock
Custom Minimalist Text (clock & date)
IP Cam Viewer widget
Custom Minimalist Text (battery info)
Custom Minimalist Text (camera and market launch buttons)
ADW Launcher EX with Custom icons

Its not as dark as it looks when its on the phone but its pretty dark, haven't noticed any battery draining issues though

1 bar of 4G as i was in a basement at the time of taking this shot.

Probably this one:

Also, I'm updating the original post to include ShootMe, the only app for rooted users that seems to work.
