+1 This is a better deal than the Atrix lapdock a while back that I had to mod to fit my old Bionic!

I actually nocticed the deal here first but came here to see what you guys were saying about it Slickdeals is a great site if you haven't used it before.
Thanks for posting this (both members who initially posted a thread and then it got merged into one). It was my birthday so I nabbed one of these for myself. Used to have a little Acer netbook that I sold a while back and kinda missed having a computer to use aside from my desktop, glad I was able to get one of these at a decent price.

At $300 it always seemed absurd to me. At $85 I admit to being seduced into buying one. (It was also my birthday.) It will be an interesting experiment, Thank you for making me aware of it.

Same here Thom. Happy belated. I hope I enjoy your lapdock.
I bought one the other day as well. Has anyone noticed their order actually shipped? Mine is still showing as "Billed".
Mine says "processing."
I never used 1saleaday.com before, so I'm not really sure what to expect. But, the order screen did say it usually takes 3-7 days to ship, or something like that.
30 days would suck =( even the notice about 3-7 days was a bit discouraging when it caught my eye but I guess there's not much we can do. If anyone tries to get in touch with them perhaps mention that you're part of a group of 7 or 8 people from the same website who all ordered and let us know what you find out.

I got the "Shipped" email too!
I entered the UPS Tracking number on my tracking app "Package Buddy" (free btw) and it is estimated for delivery for TOMORROW. I Checked and it is shipped from 32 miles from where I am. I will post if I receive it!
Check out the new webtop 3.0 which comes with the razr ICS leak. Looks way different. All of us who bought the lapdock have something really nice to look forward to.

My wife and I both have the Bionic. I had never given much thought to the lapdock due to the original price. But this deal was too good to pass up. When I showed my wife the lapdock and what it can do....well lets just say I may have to order another one down the road cause I won't get to use this one.
Is that something we will get OTA or how do we do that? Thanks!
Also, my Lapdock (on UPS) shows "OUT FOR DELIVERY".
I'm assuming it will come with the Official ICS release for the bionic but I'm hopeful that the ICS Roms can incorporate this webtop app in their release.

I just don't know if I can open a Word Doc program FULL screen though. Haven't figured out how or if possible.
You can make any app on your phone show up full screen. Some apps might not look that good but most of them look fine. I've used Quick Office and opened up PDFs in full screen, it looked great!
I haven't used Word or Excel because to me it feels like I'm compelled to work...to that I say....no thanks!

You were right. I figured out the problem that I was having. Before you go FULL screen on apps, hit the arrows on the toolbar to go LANDSCAPE...then it opens all the way. We will learn all this stuff together.
When the Motorola Droid Bionic was first announced at CES 2011, it featured a 4.3-inch qHD display, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, and support for Verizon's 4G LTE high-speed network. After the handset was delayed, Motorola... Read More
