is it possible to capture the picture off google maps then send it per text or email?

Yup. I use screen grabber. pat'dp the pic right to your gallery. Only reason it's blurry is I didn't let the Mar load all the way first. Lol

Once on ICS, you'll be able to do a screen capture natively.

Before sending the map pic you can use an app like skitch to mark it up too.
