Default Prepping for ICS

(I thought there was a thread about general prep steps, but I can't find it)

One item people who are getting the OTA are saying (over at droidforums) is that media (pictures, movies, music, etc) on your SD card may slow down the update process a lot. Might make sense to move this stuff off the phone and to a safe place before applying the update.

That's a good idea! I'm still downloading the update. I'll unmount it and throw a blank one in there just to be safe.

Turns out your post saved me a lot of grief! I took out my SD card and backed up my internal storage. I did an fxz back to 905 which clears the internal storage by default. But seeing as how people are having trouble after the upgrade. You may just be right!
