Default ICS Email Widget

I just got upgraded to ICS. I want my old email widget back.

I have a Droid Bionic with Verizon.

The widget would display the most recent email message or SMS text (with the picture of the sender if it was in the contact). If I clicked it, I could scroll through the messages getting the first few lines and the sender, from left to right. Scrolling though each one would mark it as read on the Yahoo server. I had set my email account up with enhanced port security settings (443 and 90 I think).

The new ICS widget doesn't have that scrolling feature and doesn't mark the messages as read on the server.

Any suggestions?
