Default Gmail swipe to delete

On my Gnex, I could set it to swipe to delete from the conversation list and there was a button in the pull down menu to delete a Gmail but all I can find is archive for both. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Klunky but it works if you set it to Show delete only.

Thanks. I looked at that and set it to show archive and delete but didn't realize that changing it to delete also changed the swipe options. That was driving me crazy.
