Not a problem. Looks like the update could be rolling out before long. I hear tell that invites for the soak tests went out. From there a couple of days to weeks after the soak test invites go out, the updates. After the soak test updates roll out, it could be a couple of hours to days before the update gets rolled out in full.

... in the case of the last Bionic release it was even odder ... some people who signed up for the soak test got it and some didn't. In addition some people who did not sign up for the soak test got it at the same time the soak test people did.

Bottom line ... it is impossible to predict.

Update rolled out. Later than Moto X, but before end of year. Not bad considering Verizon's track record.

We should be seeing 4.4 on the Mini before the end of the year.

My prediction is by this time next week we'll be seeing the update. The last update was about a week behind the Moto X. The Verizon Moto X has already released the offical update as of yesterday.

Let's hope that's true. I think all carriers will have to have the Moto X Kitkat update before Droids start the soak test. That's probably going to push the mini update back. But good to know it's on its way. The longer I own this phone the more impressed and happy I am with it. Other Google app updates have been great. Discovering the music app has been great!

I am loving how they have been seperating the applications from the core OS as well. It's a great strategy for faster updates. I am loving the Play Music app, too. I love that you can pin full albums to your device and listen to them without data on.
