Default Antenna design issues might push release date out

Seems could be legit:

Antenna problems causing delay of Droid RAZR HD, RAZR MAXX HD?

On a positive note, better to get it right than release it wrong. Still, there might be some folks that cave to the dark side (GS3) rather than wait that much longer.

The HD will probably rock, but the GS3 rocks right now.

agreed. From what I've seen on video's of the canadian version, the razr hd is very close to stock with the blur ui. It seems google may have had an influence in keeping a very minimal stocklike feel with the minor motorola touches on the phone.

Looks great to me. I dont care much for rooting and I've already lost unlimited data. otherwise I would spring for the devloper ed.

On one hand, I'm bummed out that the RHD is getting delayed. I'm starting to get impatient with 3G now and I need an upgrade.

On the other hand, the more the RHD gets delayed, the closer we get to more nexus news. Which may end up deterring me from this phone.

Here's some info on the next Nexus smartphone,

Rumor: the next Google Nexus smartphone will be launched this month » Unwired View

Didn't see anything about a carrier though.

Yeah to be honest it's just normal to know about Nexus handsets about this time. Surprisingly, nothing has been majorly leaked. There's also rumors of a 5 inch HTC Nexus, and there's the Galaxy Nexus 2/Plus (GT-I9260). The LG looks the best out of all of them to me though.

I'm still hopeful that nothing has been leaked because Motorola is building it and since it's owned by Google, they have huge leak management going on

My wife received her droid razr M today. I must say it looks sexy and if it had an hd screen I would have purchased one too.
I am enchanted by the build quality of the razr phones. I will only get a nexus device if there is one Made by Motorola but at this point its doubtful.

I really hope they get the Razr hd/maxx fixed quickly and out so I can start enjoying my new phone.

The Motorola DROID RAZR HD comes with one of the thinnest profiles among Android devices, just like its predecessor. The upgraded RAZR features the same size, but Moto has managed to increase the display size to 4.7 inches by extending the screen f... Read More
